Most will fanboy/fangirl over meeting their favorite actor or singer or athlete. Not me. This is where I fanboy. At the symphony! My parents and I were kindly invited by Mark C. Hanson, the President/CEO of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra @baltsymphony to take in a concert Friday night! After which he took us backstage to meet the orchestra’s exciting, new, young music director, Jonathon Heyward @jonathonheyward and the piano soloist for the evening, Jean-Yves Thibaudet! Heard an amazing symphony by African American composer James Lee III @jamesleeiii_composer ! I was geeking out. At one point Mark literally called me a nerd. If loving this music makes me a nerd, then that I am. Still grew up in west Bmore though, so don’t get it twisted! Haha!
