Need a little sunshine in your life? ☀️ Meet the Horned Sungem (Heliactin bilophus). Found in parts of South America north of the Amazon, this species of hummingbird can be spotted foraging for nectar in forests, woodlands, and even human-modified habitats, like gardens. Only males sport lavish plumage, including a dark blue forehead patch and colorful ‘horns.’ Females are mainly green and white.
