Stefani Gallici presented his debut collection for @アン ドゥムルメステール tonight in Paris. Gallici, who took over the top job at the label earlier this year after joining the brand in 2020 as a menswear designer, distilled Demeulemeester’s own signatures into his lineup. There were apron dresses and leather bibs, weightless sheer layers draped and shirred to create depth, and lived-in tailoring paired with multi-pocketed trousers. “Awareness and respect, rather than deference and orthodoxy,” wrote the young designer in his press notes. “What remains is the future. And so on. And so forth.”
