John played my (our) dad on TV— but he was so much more than that to me, and to the world... It’s such an honor when someone shares a “John” story with me. He touched people that he never even met, and he truly was everything you’d imagine him to be and MORE. It’s hard to put into words just how extraordinary he was. Quite honestly he was (is) the funniest person I know, he had the most generous heart, and truly, TRULY cared about others… During this week of Aortic Dissection Awareness, the @johnritterfoundation wants to help others learn the warning signs and risk factors of aortic disease. They have spent twenty years of honoring John’s legacy with genetic research, widespread education, and radical advocacy.
