This was December 4th, 2020.

2020 was a wild ride! The global pandemic, losing one of my businesses, stress from family, back stabbing friends, bad business partners, training within wild restrictions, and for the first time in years the Olympia changed locations and the time of the event.

There were so many unknowns that we all endured that year. Little did I know… within those next few weeks my life would change forever. Winning can be habitual and for me it is. I dominated the Mr. Olympia title for 7 years, I had to be extremely selfish and it was necessary to survive the absolute hell of Winning. In the words of my dear friend and mentor @timgrover “Winning takes you to Hell and if you quit, that’s where you’ll stay”

I went into that show with No Quit and only focused on Winning. Losing in 2020 was what I needed. I needed a big disruption and massive change. I needed to find out who really cared about me as a human-being. I needed to Pivot and become my absolute best self on a soulful level. Winning in ALL areas of life is my greatest goal and it has been most rewarding. Sometimes our losses can be our greatest teacher. I am forever thankful.
