Hi Barbie!
The September/October issue of British Cinematographer is now here! We’re delighted to reveal that #Barbie is our cover story special.
We’ve gone behind the scenes at the Barbie Dreamhouse (or the Mojo Dojo Casa House, if you prefer) to find out how cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto ASC AMC jumped at the chance to make Greta Gerwig’s vision of “authentic artificiality” a reality.
Prieto shares his approach to framing in Barbie Land, helping Gerwig transition to shooting digitally, and his emblematic choice of colour palette.
