Found in Australia, the gangly Siebenrock’s snake-necked turtle like to hide in mud and ambush fish, frogs, and other prey. If threatened, the turtle doesn’t pull its head straight back into its shell; it curls its long neck around the side of its dinner plate- size carapace. Photo taken @tennesseeaquarium.
