Maui was also the first neighbor island I visited with my family, as a child. We stayed in the very beautiful Lahaina town. Some of my most fondest childhood memories are those I made in Maui and I wanted to share this very special place with my children. But I regretted it then (and regret it even more now) that I didn’t have time to take them to revisit the beloved Lahaina… And now it’s gone 💔 And so many precious lives, lost 💔 The road to recovery from the devastation caused by the Maui fires is going to be a long and taxing one. I shared in my stories some of the organizations and individuals that I have donated to. I received so many DM’s from my Japanese friends asking about the donation process or letting me know that they too have donated. I’m so grateful for every single message that I’ve received.
