@maxloew —Sunwapta Falls can be found along the scenic Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. It’s a beautiful spot with both upper and lower waterfalls, sourced from the Athabasca Glacier. The upper falls, easily reachable from the viewpoint parking lot, drop an impressive 18 meters (59 feet). For a bit of a hike, take the 1.3 km (.8 mi) trail through a lovely lodgepole pine forest to reach the lower falls. There, you’ll be treated to the sight of three waterfalls spread along the Sunwapta River. For the best experience, plan your visit in late spring or early summer, when the snowmelt is at its peak and the falls are at their most magnificent.
