It’s an on going process but man! What incredible growth it’s been. As much as I loved life, I experienced alot of pain. From being bullied as a kid for being fat w glasses & braces to struggling with smiling depression , to surviving domestic violence. Add in people taking my kindness for weakness and strangers judging me w/o knowing, there wasn’t much of me that I liked, let alone loved. I wanted so badly to be accepted by the kids in my grade school. I wanted so badly to be liked in high school (I went to an all girl school) , I wanted so badly to be loved by someone that wasn’t my mom, dad or brothers. Took me many years to finally realize I needed to like myself, and I especially needed to love myself. It’s been an awesome journey; one of which I’m still on. There are things I’m still working on and things I’m discovering too.
