森美術館さんのインスタグラム写真 - (森美術館Instagram)「✓閉幕までのこり2週間切りました！「ヘザウィック・スタジオ展」は6/4まで！ヘザウィック・スタジオのデザインは、遊び心に溢れています。円形から楕円に、楕円から円形に自由に形を変えることができる《フリクション・テーブル》は、人々のニーズに応じて家具に柔軟性を持たせるという大胆な発想によるものです。彫刻作品のような椅子《スパン》は、人が座ると弧を描きながら360度回転します。こうした柔軟で自由な発想の集積が、まさに建築という大きなスケールにも活かされていることがわかります。 ”Heatherwick Studio: Building Soulfulness” Playing and Using The designs of Heatherwick Studio have a playful streak to them. Friction Table, the shape of which can be freely changed from a circle to an ellipse and back again, was the result of the bold idea to imbue furniture with a versatility that could respond to individual needs. Spun, a chair that could be considered as a sculptural work, rotates 360 degrees while tracing an arc when someone sits on it.
