So there will inevitably be days where you doubt yourself, when you don’t feel great or when your self confidence amounts to zero. The key in those moments, and what makes a real difference, is having specific tools. One of my favorite one is switching the inner dialogue of « I’m not good enough / I’ll never get there or will never be able to do that etc » by looking back at things I have done in the past few weeks, months or years and feel proud of myself. I even make collages of sort and keep them in my phone so that I always have them if I need a little boost. Being proud doesn’t mean being obnoxious, superior and/or entitled. Being proud is filling your own cup and giving yourself the love and acceptance you need so that you don’t need to go chasing for it outside of yourself, desperate for others’ approval to feel good about who you are.
