I love live music, not only for the in-person experience, but for the opportunity to see musicians up close, doing what they are passionate about. I wonder how they got there, what their life story is, and how it must feel at this very moment to be performing in front of an enraptured audience. I study them. their joy brings me joy. People fire me up. life is full of paradoxes, and one of them is the concept of work vs play. In order to get to where we want to go, time has to be spent intentionally. Yet, it’s often the activities that don’t seem to bring us any closer, that really do. joy is our energy source. Hard work, sacrifice, and discipline must become habitual for anyone who wishes to achieve great things.
