The band offers homage to historic moments and genres with a futuristic ambition; the past inspires them to create for the future, and sparks their imagination to create their own worlds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On the inspiration for their music, visuals, and creative vision, Jack says, “Charlotte and I get very excited by cultural iconography that exists in the past or could be in the future, that we’ve made up… we get excited by this thing and that thing, or that thing from however long ago. And I think that’s even on the record—there’s a lot of tracks that are a little more new wave. There's some grunge on the album.
