And on that note, for all you leisure and business travelers, I have to tell you about a hotel whose official mission is to actually have you leave feeling better and healthier than when you came. I recently stayed at @thewestinmaui and I have to say ‘mission accomplished.’ It was INCREDIBLE. If you want to be active and workout when away, they make (and made) it so easy. For example, they have what they call the WestinWORKOUT Gear lending program, where you can borrow the Sculpt & Flow Kit by Bala and the Recover or Recharge Kit by Hyperice (I used both). For you runners and walkers they also have RunWESTIN maps that give the most amazing scenic routes. Their gym was gorgeous, stays open 24/7 and had state of the art equipment. And for you foodies who love eating but want to be health conscious, they have a menu full of nutritious food options and splurge items as well and what, legitimately, may be the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten at a hotel. If you don’t believe me ask their 5 Michelin-Starred chefs who created the menu. Then there’s the Westin Heavenly Bed - I can’t say enough good things about it and the sleep I’ve been getting here. And finally, there is so much beautiful nature right here on the property to soak in from water falls to exotic birds. I felt like I was in a dream. So much that I will try to make this an annual trip.
