Back then I knew almost none of the artists, and that’s no excuse not to go, cause honestly, getting to know new good artists you didn’t know is fantastic. I learned about The XX that 2013. This was my sixth year, first since 2018 when Beyoncé performed. Funny it kind of felt like the first, I’ve been learning more Brazilian music the past few years and knew just the classics like Blink 182, Gorillaz, Chemical Brothers etc. knowing I’d get there and learn about the novelties. After 3 busy days…Well here is the list of highlights: 1 - ROSALÍA, like a magnetism we were in front of the main stage when she was just starting the show, and forget about it. She is just out of this world, what a performance! 2 - Kaytranada - FISHER & Chris Lake - SG Lewis These were 3 amazing performances of artists I didn’t know and became fan, all happening on Outdoor stage, where the classics Eric Prydz and Chemical Brothers also performed. 3 - Trust the main stage - from Sunset to the end of festival main stage is packed. Bad Bunny had an amazing concert full of energy and It was fun singing my teenager times songs with Gorillaz and Blink 182. I find it really amazing to attend such festivals. I feel It’s like a big body composed of dozens of thousands of people, each one with their story, tastes and expectations, but above all, everyone just wanting to have a good time and no prejudices, so it’s a big union of people wanting the same thing creating the best environment for you to be free and enjoy yourself the way you want.
