The exhibition conceived for the Palazzo delle Esposizioni sees the intersection of different levels: contemporary art, Roman history through works from the sites of the National Roman Museum, and the representation that Roman history has been provided through cinema during the 20th century. VITA DULCIS is a project that aims to create a new narrative, presenting works and artifacts of classical Roman art in an exhibition itinerary devoid of the "coldness" and "remoteness" characteristic of many museum exhibitions, in order to return to the visitor the vital intensity and authentic passion that these artifacts can arouse, immersing them in an evocative and unexpected conceptualescenographic setting, which relates them to some of Vezzoli's recent works that incorporate elements of ancient times or that are inspired by the ancient. The result is an intense mosaic of iconic classic works, surprising never-before-seen finds, masterpieces of world cinema, and a contemporary twist.
