“Focus on the positive to build confidence instead of breaking it down by giving all the thoughts of what you can’t do too much attention” - that’s how I’m working through this setback and it has helped my progress and mental health a lot.

I still have doubts, fear and dark thoughts especially when I feel pain after a session because I maay have overdone it.

I know how my program was suppose to look like, I know I’m missing out on vital training adaptations, I know the outdoor season is just around the corner, I know what it takes to get in shape - when I focus on that I get anxiaty attacks. Instead I choose to focus on all the things that are going well and working on the weaknesses that my body allows me to do.

Today I ran, what I believe, was my best 3x30m accelerations ever. It was nothing compared to what my original program looked like but I felt confident, powerfull and overall in good shape. I choose to focus on that!

I believe my point with this post was to tell you guys to try to be kind to yourself - everything is just more fun that way 🤗✨💛
