It was so fun to put the menu together and everyone raved about how yummy the food was! Of course I had to have my fave food catering company @urbanpalatela for this special shower and can’t tell you how insanely gooood everything tasted and how beautiful the presentation was plus the staff was the icing on the cake! fun fact: they catered my big 30th birthday party! So they’ve done all my special milestones- they’re amazing!) A few things on the menu were: Appetizers: * Chicken confit sopes with mole, black bean crema, pickled red onion * Santa Barbara seabass ceviche, heirloom citrus, avocado, habanero oil * Tartine station Buffet * Orecchiette pasta with Arugula pistou, grilled asparagus, fava beans, English peas, Meyer lemon, chèvre * Grilled skirt steak with guajillo spice, cilantro lime gremalota x potatoes * Pan Seared branzino, roasted baby heirloom tomatoes, rosemary , roasted garlic oil For the bar, we had tailored drinks made by the sweet girls from @martinigirls which were so refreshing and so good! They’ve also done a few of our parties and they’re the best! We also had aguas frescas because I’m obsessed with having fresh juices- we had Watermelon x Pineapple with Spinach! 🍉 For the furniture & dishware, our good friends from @berbereimports helped bring our vision to life! Their pieces are just incredibly stunning- my backyard is all filled with Berbere pots x furniture! For the framed house around the buffet table, which turned out to be such a focal statement scene, my sister @lilylove213 and brother in law @mucio323 came up w the idea and built it out! It framed that little vignette so perfectly! For all the floral and table styling; my good friend @dolcetto created such a beautiful, effortless job- I just couldn’t get over how pretty everything looked!
