Pelé sempre foi muito religioso. E nesta Páscoa, queremos compartilhar um pouco da paixão do Rei do Futebol por Deus. Ele sempre dizia: “Deus me deu o dom de jogar futebol”. E sempre tentou se encontrar com os pontífices da Igreja Católica pessoalmente. O Rei do Futebol entregou camisa autografada ao papa Francisco e se encontrou com Bento XVI, João Paulo II e Paulo VI. Pelé was always a religious person. This Easter, we want to share a little bit of the Rei’s love for God. He would always say “God gave me the gift of playing soccer”. He always tried to meet with the Catholic Church pontiffs in person. The Rei of football gave an autographed shirt to Pope Francis and met with Benedict XVI, John Paul II and Paul VI.
