Jokes aside healing a break-up comes down to re-wiring the brain. 🧠 Understanding the neuroscience of heartbreak can help us better understand how to heal from the physical and emotional pain caused by a breakup.

There are a few things we can do that are essential to surviving and healing from heartbreak, based on what we know from studies.

One of these is recalibrating the brain into focusing on something new, like a new activity. Whether that’s joining a gym or a new club, this will naturally create dopamine in the brain which will help the feelings of craving and withdrawal. Science is cool, huh?
