But it’s a balance, and two migraine attacks within two weeks, that made looking at screens feel like my eyes were being cut through, was my reminder that we live in the real, breathing, organic world. The digital is a tool but not the whole truth. How we speak our truth and show up here is up to us, individually and collectively. I feel that responsibility more than ever. I’ve lived a life, as so many girls and women, feeling insecure, trying to shapeshift into the expected and conceal the nervousness I know so many are familiar with.
