My piece "Menstrualverse - UnicornDAO Blue Blood version" originated from a commission from UnicornDAO. I created a collection of wearables that allow avatars to menstruate in the metaverse but were rejected from Decentraland for being 'inappropriate'. The wearables were approved when the blood was colored blue. Unfortunately, stigmas around women's bodies still exist in Web3/Metaverse, and the lack of diversity in the communities doesn't help to make it better.
