the speed for accuracy trade-off
You have probably experienced speed-accuracy trade-offs many times while climbing. The faster you try to climb, the more likely you are to miss a foot- or handhold.

Sometimes though...
moving faster can make you more accurate. Although the general rule is that we trade speed for accuracy (or vice versa) when we make aiming movements, there are exceptions. Under certain conditions, speeding up can make us more consistent in timing a movement and in where we end the movement compared to our target.

As counter-intuitive as it might sound, with speed-bouldering you can clean up your technique.
