The work of a woman is always front and centre at #MariaGraziaChiuri shows, and her latest haute couture collection for @クリスチャンディオール is no exception. With the set being inspired by Ukrainian artist #OlesiaTrofymenko, and the show itself referencing the “tree of life” concept as the main starting point, at first glance, the pieces looked extremely subtle—but the true beauty was in the details. Dresses, jackets, and coats were embellished with hand embroidered motifs inspired from nature. This gentle collection was overall guided by two opposing concepts: simplicity and emotion. For Chiuri, this is not a moment for loud audacity, but one for contemplating our relationship towards nature and, what is most important, towards each other.
