They will present works on the theme of "Maneki Neko" (beckoning cat), wishing "Happiness & Lucky" to our helpless modern society. Inspired by Asakusa, the venue of the exhibition, the two artists will present their collaborative paintings which are made up of layers of collage and additions like mille-feuille, colorful manekineko cats, their latest music, and a special exhibition of "macominaming" produced by Yuki Kawamura, the producer of "macominaming.” The exhibition will also feature a "macominaming lottery," a sacred lot supervised by Yuki Kawamura. A workshop for making red seal booklets will be held on June 26 (Sun.), and a "macominaming mini live" will be held on July 3 (Sun.) at 5:00 p.m., both at the exhibition site. The members are Minami Taga and Mako Watanabe a.k.a Mako Principal, both of whom work as artists.
