It's time to unite for #CleanEnergyFreedom 🇺🇸

As climate activists, we’ve spent years working to stop dangerous fossil fuel projects and expansion. Whoever controls your energy controls your destiny, and for too long the oil and gas industry has fueled war and destruction. This has to end now.

President Biden promised to center climate in all government decision-making. That must include our response to Russia’s brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine. This #EarthDay2022, I’m joining military veterans, clean energy workers, climate activists and artists to call on @POTUS @JoeBiden to rapidly build out U.S. clean energy infrastructure and lead the world in a technological revolution.

The world is waking up to the true cost of fossil fuels — how our reliance on oil and gas threatens our national security by funding dictators like Putin and causing climate change. Fortunately, @POTUS @JoeBiden has the power to strengthen our national security, lower our energy prices, create jobs, and avert climate catastrophe: he can invoke the Defense Production Act to ramp up domestic clean energy production. This will free us from the volatile global fossil fuel market and build our economy with good-paying jobs.
