I was also planning to go until last Friday, when I started to get a fever. So I went to the urgent care to get tested. After testing, I was told that I got positive for the covid test. I am doing fine now with no symptoms getting ready to skate again. I'm very sorry to everyone who expected me to be there and skate but I am doing my best to get on track again. As always, thank you for all the support and I will continue to do my best to become a better skater each day. 今回、全米大会で僕を見るのを楽しみにしてくれていた皆様、この度は大会に出れず申し訳ありません。先週の金曜日まで行く気満々だったんですが、高熱が出て病院に行った結果、コロナの陽性反応が出てしまったので棄権する事となりました。全米や全日本といった大会でライバルや僕よりも上手い選手をたくさん見て、まだまだ滑り足りないという気持ちでいっぱいです。いつもたくさんのメッセージやDM、そしてエールをくれる皆様、ありがとうございます。これからも全力で自分のベストを尽くしながら体調管理を怠らず頑張っていきたいと思うので応援よろしくお願いします。」1月10日 8時57分
