Thank God @stacykeibler was in the bed next to me & I had her to help process what I was watching. . It feels like yesterday. . The horrific suffering that so many have endured because of hate. The loss of loved ones & people more brave than most of us could ever imagine. . I think about all of the brave souls who have fought after this day in the name of safety & peace for millions of others. Not the most luxurious job, but it takes a special human to do it. . I don’t understand how hate so intoxicating exists but will never stop believing in the POWER OF LOVE. . @liliangarcia - I dunno how you sang that day in 2001 so flawlessly (I know it was mega hard) but she reminded us then, as I hope seeing this today 20 yrs later…that standing together in unity & love can get us through anything. . On this day 20 yrs ago most of the world felt unity & love for our fellow humans. I hope we can feel that again as we remember our friends, neighbors, loved ones..and heroes. ❤️🙏🏽」9月11日 23時12分
