#TBT to when I did a #movie with the #livingicon before he was a #meme ... the legendary #ChuckNorris called #TheHitman … my memories of doing this movie…. We filmed this scene in #Vancouver historic #Gastown over several nights (there was a lot of action that preceded this scene), you can clearly see the #waterstcafe in the background … the movie was directed by Chuck’s brother #AaronNorris who was a real gentleman, as was #Chuck who never even touched me in that #knockout move (all #cameraangles and #soundeffects) although he later blows my character away on screen with his shotgun... for you #Canadian viewers out there, you might recognize the other actor in the scene as #BrunoGerussi (RIP) who was the star of one of #Canadas longest running #tvseries #TheBeachcombers 🇨🇦 … I had other scenes with Bruno who was upset that his grandkids would see him “swearing so much onscreen”... I also met another of Canada’s longtime #tvstars #AlWaxman #KingofKensington (RIP) on this film, (although we didn’t share any scenes together)… When this film came out, it was released theatrically in the #USA before #Canada, and I drove with a buddy just across the border to #Bellingham #WashingtonState (10 minutes south of Canada) to see it in the #bellisfair theater … when the movie was over, a group of teens nervously approached us and asked “Are you the guy in the movie?” I said “Yes” and then, as they walked away, I heard the one guy turn to the other, “it’s not him… what would he be doing in Bellingham?”… #Chucknorrismeme #ChuckNorrisfacts #Chucknorrisapproved #Chucknorrismeme
