Where are you going? What are your goals? What is your “destination?” While I’m far from opposed to goal setting... I think we, as a society, place far too much importance on the result or ending. If we’re always working towards some THING, where’s the time to float, dance, wander and dream? How many things in life do we “want” because it seems like that’s what others want and, thus, must be the thing to do? ••• The unique reality of this last year has been challenging for all of us, but I have been very grateful for the opportunity to exist in the in between - in the now. While I was constantly traveling (literally) before the world changed, I was also far too comfortable living from engagement to engagement, flight to flight, and from one plan to the next. This last year has afforded me the ability to embrace living in the moment in a way that I had long forgotten how to do. I recognize that there have been many unprecedented lows, but I also have hope that we’ll be able to find some beauty as the world we once knew continues to change. 🖤」2月26日 6時39分
