My heart never felt love, like I felt for him, the moment I held him in my arms I would never be the same❤️ He instantly became my tiny best friend and the one I’d give my life for. And today, I can’t believe he turns 24! I’m so proud of him...he will never boast or brag, but he’s walked in runway shows from Louis Vuitton in Paris to Prada in New York and has been on billboards and in stores from Urban Outfitters to Nike. But more amazing than all that, is his brilliant mind, his heart, creativity and musical gifts that have blown me away, since he was small. I’ve stood with tears in my eyes as I watched his fingers when he was small playing the guitar effortlessly or in shock (and in tears) as he sat at the piano for the first time, playing the most difficult & beautiful song, entirely by ear. He makes music, art, sculptures, clothes...in ways I’ve never seen before, that amaze and inspire me. He’s brilliant, beyond creative, he’s wise and insightful...I’m honored to be his mom. Even though we called him Jordan, he never felt like it fit...and he’s returned to one of the original names for him, Kain. Happiest 24th birthday my amazing son, Kain!
