Photos by Robbie Shone @shonephoto / In Gunung Mulu National Park, Borneo, the normal way to travel is by foot or boat. There are no cars allowed in the park. For our expedition, we mostly began and ended our day traveling up and down the Melinau River in a longboat to reach the caves. The feeling of wind rushing by, with the sounds and sights of tropical birds flying way up high, is really amazing. It’s such a special way to travel.
