I’m a bit obsessed with tiny details, and nothing gets details quite as crisp as MICRON 003. I also love to play with lighting and highlights, so the white GELLY ROLL gel ink pen is another favorite tool of mine. ⁠ ⁠ For this piece in progress, I first drew the deer with MICRON pens of varying sizes, from 003 to 05. Once I finished with the ink work, I did a light wash with my black KOI watercolors for neutrals to add a bit of depth and dimension. Finally, I used my white GELLY ROLL pen to add a few highlight touches to the fur, nose, and eyes.
