Not being able to attend classes online, she spent most of her day sitting outside in the alleyway - often in the dark - studying her textbooks in the hope of not falling behind and soon being able to return to school. Remote learning used to be a nice-to-have. Now, it’s a must-have. Yet, in 2020, 463 million children were unable to access remote learning globally.
