サラ・ライトさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サラ・ライトInstagram)「Remember early last year I posted some photos from a recording studio?⠀ Before the world shut down I wrote some lyrics in a village in the cascade mountains to help me work through the pain of losing my dad. ⠀ ⠀ It was only fitting since my daddy taught me how to sing when I was 4 years old and had me singing folk, gospel and country music my whole childhood. I took the lyrics to my dear friend Gene Bowen (pictured here with me) and he wrote the music overnight. He called me the next day to play me the song and we have been playing and singing music together ever since. The song for my dad is called “I’ll Wait Right Here.” ⠀ ⠀ Gene has written so many incredible songs throughout the years and we put a few together mastered by the master himself @sirgregwells and with the guidance and talent of our friend and amazing producer/ musician Paul Bushnell @papabushnell on an album, calling ourselves ‘the belle and the bow’. ⠀ ⠀ Gene wrote some gorgeous love songs and my favorite is one he wrote for his effervescent bride Dominique called “When I Love You Tomorrow.” ⠀ ⠀ There has been so much loss, sadness and pain this last year ..there has also been birth, life, love and hope.
