DNA studies do not indicate that separate classifiable subspecies (races) exist within modern humans. While different genes for physical traits such as skin and hair color can be identified between individuals, no consistent patterns of genes across the human genome exist to distinguish one race from another. Everybody on Earth is descended from Africa. As groups of us moved around the world away from the equator, the color of our skin had to change. The closer you are to the equator, the more intense the ultraviolet rays are, affecting places like northern South America, Southern Asia and most of Africa. Because the ultraviolet varies, the color of our skin varies. In any race you can find members at just about any IQ level. The ability to obtain intelligence is not relative to skin color or heritage and there is no data to prove there is. Racism is a symptom of psychological ill-health, a defense mechanism generated by feelings of insecurity. Racist belief is essentially having pride in a circumstance one had no choice in. It requires someone with extremely low value and little accomplishments to believe themselves superior to any group based on any arbitrary factor.
