Rita Buck-Crockett is considered one of the best all-around volleyball players to play the game. She earned a silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. After her indoor career, she became the first African-American to win a beach volleyball World Championship in 1989. Currently, she is in her eighth season at Florida International University serving as head coach for both indoor and beach volleyball, and the Assistant Athletic Director. #BlackHistoryMonth
