Thoughts have been much like rivers churning in currents though I’ve felt the need to retreat and channel them in the quiet offline spaces. The more pressed or pulled or nudged has become a cue to detour away into an expanse and take all the room I need. This has been such a wonderful gift. I’m exuberantly happy Friday has arrived and the weekend awaits with all sorts of possibility. My favorite is the sound of laughter echoing through rooms and the way the sunlight peers through certain windows. The sun feels extra warm in its hues today like an overarching golden hour thawing out ligaments while the soul stretches in its bask. I’m looking forward to books and baking and forts and imaginating. And of course scribbles and colors splayed throughout blank pages too. What are you looking forward to? . . . .
