I unplugged from the digital world this weekend and it was such sustenance for my entire being all around. We ventured out at dusk yesterday when we had the whole neighborhood to ourselves and went on a walk with snowballs flying here and there, but mostly it was just presence felt and savoured with snowflakes in its movement and stillness and the wonder of sharing it together. I’m not sure if it’s from the scarcity of such moments outdoors, but the memory in its fullness has already etched itself fully into my heart. I’ve moved from owls to hawks in my study of woodland creatures and I’m enjoying this unfussed exploration in creative practices. I’ve been venturing out of my usual and trying new things on various frontiers lately and it has been refreshing to say the least. I’m curious and excited to see where this new path shall go... . . . . Fun fact: this shift from owls to hawks was inspired from watching Ladyhawke over the weekend.
