@moanaloveniu South Bronx, New York: "Love Letters to Our Mothers." For 5 months, I held classes every Saturday with youth in the South Bronx to create this community mural. I relish in walking down the streets of this mural and community members, shout out at me, PINTURA!!!! Awwwwwwwwww. The Bronx is my favorite Borough in New York City! This community mural was created and designed by African American, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Ecuadorian youth, ages 14 - 18 years old in the South Bronx. One of my favorite things about what happened from this mural is @theblackjoyproject has our mural as their profile pic and when they asked their mama, Romy what brings her joy, she said our community mural!!!!! #SouthBronx #TheBronx #MoanaLove #BlackJoy #PuertoRico #dominianrepublic #ecuador
