Forever in my heart Cloris. Thank you for everything. ♥️ I had the pleasure & privilege of playing Cloris’ delinquent granddaughter in “This is Happening”. Cloris was tireless in her attention to detail - she insisted on using her own dead stuffed dog as her personal prop which she pulled out of the closet during our first table read. Her discipline was unmatched - long days, long nights didn't tire her, she had the most energy of anyone on set. I will never forget her pranks, her dedication to the role, her generosity to the whole cast & crew, and of course her ability to make everything hilarious. My funniest Cloris moment was when we were shooting a pretty serious scene - my character was supposed to be in a solemn emotional place thinking about her dead mother & right before action I felt something so I looked down & Cloris was licking the entirety of my bare arm - I whispered “Cloris what are you doing?!?” and she just looked at me with this cheeky grin & her twinkly eyes and then laughed her infectious laugh and before I knew it @rmjaffe had called action and without missing a beat she was right in the scene and I was absolutely not in the scene - I was just reeling from the fact that Cloris Leachman had just licked me. ♥️」1月28日 12時06分
