New York–based interior designer Steven Gambrel (@stevengambrel) was tapped by his good friends Alex and Sue Glasscock (owners of @theranchmalibu) to redesign their 150-acre property, originally owned by the movie star William Boyd, overlooking the Pacific Ocean in California’s Santa Monica Mountains. In the kitchen, custom stools with cushions in a @dualoyleather pull up to an island topped with French limestone; the industrial pendants are vintage.
