Biking through the wild nature of Manhattan is feeling into & embodying my own. Going on adventures over the bridge to Brooklyn & back, invigorated by this freedom that calls me to the other side, sharing the road with beautiful differently abled bodies. I push & glide, reclaiming locations from naughty ghosts past, owning that this is my city too & recalling when I first moved here at 17 in 1993. Feeling the crisp air awaken what is exposed above my mask, reveling in the strength of my powerful long legs & body, thanking the sweat for cleansing me & my mind of what no longer serves my purpose or destiny. I ride these paths humbled & energized by lessons that propel me forward focused on progress, not perfection. I enter the end of this first month of 2021 with more vitality, honesty, curiosity, patience, compassion, moderation, courage, maturity & grace than before. I am alive, well loved, well supported & grateful. May you embrace & embody your own true wild nature, beloved siblings. We continue in our lanes for change & liberation. I believe in us. May this be a year of recovery, repair & transformation as we continue to envisage & build our wildest dreams alongside those who choose to envisage & build with us.
