The Inimitable Mr. Penhaligon, the real one, the one by whom the eponymous new arrival to the Portraits Mansion is inspired, had the pleasure of being dubbed the ‘Prince of Perfumers’ by the Incorporated Guild of Hairdressers, Wigmakers and Perfumers. No other title would do, in our humble opinion. We’d say ‘King’, but Princes have more fun.

And The Blazing Mister Sam would certainly agree. He is comfortable in the company of Princes. An American in London, his hot and cold spices mingle over dry patchouli and creamy cedar. What a welcome guest in the Portraits Family home he is. We certainly can’t resist his charms. #penhaligonsxportraits #blazingmistersam
