We know a lot of people are very frustrated with complicated systems or friends getting it and you can’t find it. We were in the same boat. Spent every day on the phone, on hold, signing up here and there. Finally got an appointment. Looking forward to the second dose in a couple weeks. We trust the medical community that this is safe. For every million docs that say “take the vaccine it is safe” there is one quack with a degree and a YouTube channel saying it will give you autism and turn your nose into an ear. It’s NOT true. There is no REPUTABLE (real) evidence that this vaccine will harm you. Some temporary side effects in some cases sure, but this vaccine is saving lives. We can help ourselves and each other by getting a simple shot. We understand there is good cause for people, especially people of color, to be skeptical of the government and medical authorities due to heinous inexcusable actions and programs in the past. From everything we’ve learned and understand this is not one of those moments. If you’re skeptical because of what you’ve read on the internet call your doctor. Go to your community health clinic and ask them. Call your family physician, your primary care doc, your proctologist, your oncologist, your podiatrist. Call any REAL ist that you can find in your community and ask them about it. If they tell you it’s not safe (they won’t) please get a second opinion.
