I’ve been working on getting more and more detail into my artwork, and I couldn’t do it without my MICRON pens.⁠ ——⁠ If you’ve been following my guest posts this week you’ll know that my favorite size is the 01 pen, which I used to get the initial linework down for this. I added thickness to lines with 02, 03, or 05 size pens, and I used a size 08 pen to fill in large areas. Finally, I used a 005 pen for the fine stippling in the planets and for the delicate lines of fur in the tiger.⁠ ⁠ A tip on using white GELLY ROLL pens (my go-to for stars and highlights):⁠ I find that when adding white on top of black ink, it’s really helpful to have a scrap of paper handy to clear the head of the GELLY ROLL pen. It can get black ink on it, and it will apply more easily and neatly if cleaned often.
