I have watched my dear friend blossom into an exemplary teacher, competitor and community leader. Now I am proud to add published author to that list, as Elliott and his writing partner @dan_moskowitz have released their first book, #salesjiujitsu, which applies the self defence principles of BJJ to allow business owners to compete against companies of all sizes - an especially important lesson right now as small businesses everywhere struggle to survive. When I received the book, I was shocked to find he had dedicated it to me, and my late father David Gellman, who began our journey in the martial arts by sending us to California so many years ago. My father, whose reflection you can make out in this photo, would be so incredibly honoured and proud to be included, as am I.
