In 2002, Campagnolo's know-how in the field of composite materials gave life to the first of a series of excellent products: the low-profile Hyperon, the first full carbon wheels made in Italy with carbon fiber rims and hubs. The range of wheels has grown considerably since then, up to the universally known Bora wheels.

To emphasize that the entire product range is the result of extensive research in the science of aerodynamics, all models have been named after dominant winds.
