"Fender always used automotive colors for their guitars in the early days. I’ve chosen 1968 Ford colors (for obvious reasons) on the California Specials, this one in Sunlit Gold.
Flat black guard and competition stripes add to the ‘68 muscle-car vibe.
Genuine Mother-of-Pearl blocks, matching headstock and rippin’ flame maple neck add a little beauty to the brawn.
